    Sure Bail float switch

    2005 Triton Tr-196.
    This float switch failed a while back and getting around to replacing it.
    This model is not so readily available.Also it did fail.
    Has anyone replaced theirs?
    Did you use the same one or move on to another brand?

    Found a guy that had a few. Said Amazon won't let him sell them because they have mercury. $20 each + shipping.

    OK I guess I need some education.
    Replaced the float switch with New same as original.
    One wire to brown on bilge pump and one wire to hot on battery and nothing.
    I know eventually I will run it to one of the accessory switches for fuse protection but it should work correct?
    Any advice would be appreciated.
