No power ....help Evinrude 1999 225

    Guys,
Boat has ran great all summer long until I had some power issues with a failing battery. I had a big pm1 starting battery fail 4 years old. I replaced with a 31 agm Duracell and now I have no trim, no power at the key. I have power at my accessories; livewells, pumps, lights. Just nothing at key. I checked to see if power was getting to starter and yes it has it. Can you guys help?

I installed the battery myself. I was wondering about the pdp. Is there a way I can test it?

I have power to the pdp....the 10amp fuse between the relays was okay.... I checked for voltage on both leads where fuse plugs into the pdp only the right lead had power.

If you are good enough with that soldiering iron you can do it yourself. The solder used in the production of the early PDP's did not have lead in it and caused failure. You can use a solder sucker or wick and remove the old solder and add new solder.
