This trade war is certainly heating up. I don’t think this thing gets worked out until after the election.

I agree, and it will take a more disciplined approach to reach that goal. The question is, who is going to fill those shoes?

That is the big question and I'm not sure anyone else will. The Chinese are probably thinking they can inflict short term harm on the markets and if a recession happens that we will cave. They may be right. Very tough situation.
