    My buddy had an 02 TR20 Merc 225 3L 26p Tempest that ran pretty good.

    I would of guessed the 2008 20hp with the 250 rating would have been. No? Ive heard of these being 80mph boats.

    Just go look at the owners page. Seems like the older TR models were the fastest. Throw a 250 on one & they move!

    My friend has a 2009 TR21HP with a 2017 250 Pro XS that we rigged after break in and sending propr to Mark it would hit 81.7 with a light load, loaded he has seen 77 before and that's on two Lowrance gps units. Mar helped it about three mph. Jim Magartt had a 2004 TR21HP with a 225 HO Rude that I saw 80 on more than once, of course light loaded. Most that we sold were in the mid to upper seventies.
