    Bought Champion 202

I bought the 1995 champion 202 boat, with a fast strike 150 engine, I need advice as to what transom saver to buy. It is missing. The trailer is a tandem axle if that makes a difference.

I much prefer the motor mate type better than the stick savers.

This one is spring loaded. Not sure what the reviews are doing other then putting to much down pressure it my be causing them issues. My replacement is 2 year old and doing well.

Don’t ask this question anywheres else in the forum, guys will have your head spinning with different answers. I use a motormate too and yes the one you linked is the one that Pats referring too. Just make sure whatever you decide on fits your motor properly before you buy it.

Thank you, Thats why I was asking if that motormate would work. I dont have the boat yet so I have no way knowing what style of transom saver will fit. Later in the week Ill make the drive to go get it. It is a little to far to keep making drives just to measure. I would like to make sure I have everyting needed with me for the drive to get the boat and trailer home safe. So I was hoping someone on here has the same engine and trailer combo that could tell me what would work.
