Wiggle Wart MadFlash

I bought 10 of these (different colors) Wiggle Wart MadFlash. First cast got a nice smallie on the chrome/blue/orange belly.
about 10 casts later, the chrome was peeling off both sides. A few more casts, the orange belly was half peeled.
Anyone else have this problem? I did not use any other colors yet as I might return them is they are defective.
I contacted Rapala, who make these Storm cranks and they wanted me to fill out the return sheet with all kinds of
information then PAY to ship it to them soi they can determine if it was my fault. It costs more to ship it back then
I paid for the damn thing.
ANYONE ELSE have a problem with Storm Wiggle Wart MadFlash crankbaits???

I have 3 or4 of them, no issues. I have had them for about 7 years. When did you buy yours? Sounds like a bad surface prep. I have had a G finish small crank bait do the same thing. After it peeled, the surface was smooth as glass. Maybe take it back to where you bought it, that is if you can. I know that most of time, I toss the receipt.
