New Software Updates

guys a lot of new updates just came out - Carbons, Lives, Livesight but surprisingly no 3D update which makes me wonder if they're not going to fix it.... might be time for a 3/1 for me!

Hope the update addresses the auto depth change between DS & 2D. Have reloaded the initial 19.1 and done two hard resets trying to eliminate the problem, but no joy. It fixed the problem on my bow Carbon, but not the console unit.

Just tried the new software 19.1-62.1.153. There is a issue/Bug.
Now my 12” HDS Live is restart it self continually.
Downgraded it again to 19.1-62.1.114. Then no problem.

after you installed .153, did you perform a hard reset? Many times a hard reset is necessary after installing a software update.

It could not be necessary to make a hard reset. I don't do it on my PC, iPhone or any other electric equipment after an update.

Updated 4 units and the livesight with no issues.

Live and Carbon can share map by wifi with this new update

I export my waypoints & trails.
Then do a hard-reset.
Then answer no to all setup prompts.
Then insert Sd-card, go to Files & select UPD file and begin update.
Then after unit has rebooted, power-down & hard-reset again.

Reconfigure settings & import WRT's.

Have fewer problems so far. . .

Installed yesterday on my two Carbon units and fished this morning. No issues noted, everything worked as it should.

I updated 2 Carbon 12's with no noticeable issues yesterday. I have not been on the water yet but don't expect any issues. I downloaded the update to my computer and installed update via a Micro SD card. I always update to the current version and never have to do any type of resets. I update 1 unit at a time with the other unit off.

But this is not an PC or iPhone!!!!
(any other electric equipment after an update), and you would be mistaken thinking that.
It is easy to backup waypoints and settings and perform a hard reset.

Was on the water yesterday and tried the new update. Didn't have any problems so far.
