    on board cooler water

Anyone having trouble with water laying on the little ledge to the right side of the cooler. I usually keep my sandwiches there and wondering if I drill a drain hole there will it drain into the bilge area?

Yes, mine always holds water.....i just dont put anything up there if i dont want wet....

They could have at least put a notch on it to keep it drained..

Yup , I drilled a hole. Have not had any water on it since. Also check the little drain holes in the two compartments on the left side of the cooler. Mine plugged up in a big rain storm and filled with water

So the water that will be draining will it get the spray foam saturated over time?

I just use Yeti ice blocks. Keeps my cooler cool all day and pretty much dry maybe a little sweat.

yep there is a lot of foam under the shelf that would soak up water, I have looked at putting in a plastic tube to get it past the foam, just haven't come up with the right fitting to hold the tube, most have a lip on edge and wont let the water drain all the way

Under the cooler they spray foam to help with keeping it cool, so if you just drill a hole and let the water run out the foam will soak it up....so then you may have an issue.....but like Drew mentioned you would need to put a tube to make sure it gets past the foam.....

Ok , I ran out and checked the hole I drilled on the ledge of the cooler . There was so little foam there i just took a screw driver and just reamed the the hole out a little, now no foam in site it's strait down to the bilge now.
