I had to swap motors I installed a 2000 Yamaha vmax. I have a older trophy prop it does not have changeable hub sleeve. The prop is 15 splined. Question is will this work and if so what will I need to make it work

I had to swap motors I installed a 2000 Yamaha vmax. I have a older trophy prop it does not have changeable hub sleeve. The prop is 15 splined. Question is will this work and if so what will I need to make it work

you might have to check thrust washer. it should fit snug in prop hub and space propon shaft so lock washer/ nut seats correctly, no play or wobble. a thinner t washer moves prop foward, closer to gear case and vice/versa. there a common item at any marine shop my fastest prop is a trophy! bring the prop with you will help in sizing washer.
