I fished with Zach Hughes over the weekend since Im boatless at the moment, he knows his shit on the lake. I highly recommend him and will send you his number if interested. Weather would be a factor so you may be a little ahead of yourself. March and April would probably be your best bet, I’d contact a guide soon and get on his books, Zach and I are fishing some stuff next year and he is already booking trips for spring 2020. He goes out of the minnow bucket on the east side of the lake so may check out rooms or I’d be interested in renting my house out to you and it’s less than ten minutes to any ramp and on the water. He picked me up on my dock one afternoon.

Overheard several conversations at LFM and MB and other guides where saying it was tough as hell, took us a while to get a bite but when we did it was on.

Thanks for the info, I would appreciate his number. Also,I appreciate the offer and will keep the house in mind.I am taking my dad with me,he lives in plano and I believe he knows someone who lives on the lake for lodging,if that doesn't work out I may get ahold of you. Thanks again.

It’s hit or miss, not the best time of year imo.

Leave Quitman and go up 154 and unload at the Minnow Bucket, FYI.
