    Dash lights?

I fished a tourney Saturday, and got there WAY before daylight. Made me realize that none of my rocker switches are lighted. Any recommendations on some small LED lights to add to the console?

Do a search on google for backlit rocker switches. They are nice.

IMO they should put lighted switches in. Our boats have headlights for crying out loud! BUT when I launch my boat on a tournament morning I gotta pull my cell phone out and use my light on it to shine the dash so I can see the right switches I need, lol. I understand no boat is perfect, and I have enjoyed mine probably more than any other bass boat I've had so far. There is only a very few things I'd change if I had to make a list. The switches would be first on it.
I'll have to google it and see what's out there.

I'm with you Craig.. there is always room for improvement
Only thing saves me, the switches are in the same place as my old one and I've been doing it long enough to do it by feel.

Exact same thing I did. I am looking at some small panel mount diodes that may work.

They are lit when they are on but not the actual names. I understand the dilemma. Does it help turning on the courtesy lights at all?

Dammit Boy, I didn't think it would come out that big! lol. I should be able to mount a few of these in the dash above the switches.

Did you look at new wire marine? The switches light up when you turn on the dash lights and they also light up again when they are turned on to power a pump or what ever. And you can get white red or blue.

hey that new wire marine is a pretty neat website. You mean our switches can be converted to illuminated ones by simply popping the cover off and putting a new one on?

Basically yes. You have to plug the existing wires to the new switch then you have to run a hot and a ground from the dash light switch. When you turn on the dash lights a picture of the bilge area and the word bilge itself will light up. When you turn the bilge pump on another light comes on to let you know that the switch is on.

New Wire Marine website is a GREAT find. Unless for some odd reason they won't work/fit I'm getting them on my next boat for sure.

The rocker switches in my 1995 allison are the Carlin style and I'm pretty sure it's the same style they put in the new boats, and that is the style that new wire marine sells.
