2002 procraft super pro 200 dc

I understand my boat has a composite transom but can seem to find anywhere online about what materials are used in a composite transom. Does anyone know if its laminated plywood that they call a composite or is it glass and foam? Reason I ask is I love my boat and am considering hanging a new 4 stroke on it or buying a new boat. New motor would be the cheapest route. Would it be worthwhile to take to a shop for a transom inspection? can they determine rot or weakness?

I have a 250ss Suzuki on my 2000 model 210 super pro. Supposedly the transom is composite. I don't know what materials exactly were used, but the front decking is composite as well.back deck has 2 thick plywood stacked. The 250ss weighs 580
Lbs, and I have an atlas jack. No problems in 4 years.
