    Need a Squarebill Blank

I am looking to have a couple custom squarebills done, and I would like to find a blank canvas to work on.
Who makes a squarebill similar to the SK 1.0-2.5?

    Thank you in advance.
    Dave

The RC 1.5 knockoffs are pretty damn similar to SK 1.5s, at least with line tie placement and the way they run. I always pay attention to line ties on squarebills because it dramatically affects how they come through vegetation. The SK 1.5 is the best production crank I've used for coming through vegetation, and I've got some custom painted RC 1.5 KOs that do just as well. Their action is extremely similar as well, though the RC 1.5 KOs have rattles. Pretty sure the guy I had paint them got his blanks from Shelts.

SK squares are smooth sided. The blanks we get are more like an RC with scales molded in.

Drew, I assume you know Nolan? That kid is good!

I don't...the guy who was doing mine hung it up. Sounds like I need to know him though! I'm currently (passively...season is winding down here) on the lookout for a new "guy" to paint stuff...

    Drew,

My painter is Tim Hughes down at Table Rock Lake. He does fantastic work, and I have been impressed with his turn around time.
