    Tire blowout new recommendations

    Hi guys,
I blame myself for this costly mistake but I blew A tire on the interstate on my way home from Wisconsin Saturday
. I should have changed the Marathons a long time ago but they still looked good and I took a chance.
Now I need a new Fiberglas trailer fender and new rim as when it blew the radial fibers scratched the heck out of it.
What are the best trailer tires to run now a days. I would like to keep the white letters but I know that’s tough these days more important I want a good tire. The size is ST215/75R14.
    any suggestions are appreciated.
    thank you,

Just put the beloved bbc Goodyear Endurance tires on mine after seeing all the praise on here over the years. Not white lettered but so far very pleased with look and quality. I’d highly recommend

Endurance, my Carlisle tires on new boat trailer lasted 19k and should have been replaced at 16.5, then put endurance on with no trailer TLC and they lasted 25k should have been replaced at 22k.

Enough said, they are awesome and I am on my 3 set and currently doing trailer TLC and expect to break 45k

plenty of capacity, smooth, straight tracking, great durability

Another vote for the Goodyear Endurance tires. They ride nice and the speed rating is reassuring.

My 2018 F150 keeps track of the miles that I driven towing my boat.

Well that is awesome. I guess I can look forward to that in about 20 years or so. I drive a 1999.
I tend to hang on to them. Still have my first one I bought at 15, Same age as I am a 1969 chevelle.

Same here. The 857 is a commercial trailer tire.

The Kumho 857's might be harder to find however than the new Goodyear Endurance which might be 2nd choice.
