    new to South Carolina

Hey all: Just moved to Surfside Beach SC ( near Myrtle Beach) I found plenty of salt water opportunities ,but my main fishing is with bass. Looking to where I can go to find small lakes and ponds to fish.I fish both from shore and with a jon boat and Electric Trolling motor
    Thanks
It's fishin, uncomplicated and enjoyable ! It is not a job so relax

How far you want to travel? About an hour NW, there is a sizable lake right in Hartsville, and just NW of there Lake Robinson. Both are fairly small lakes, although still hundreds of acres, and don't get much traffic.

Go to SCDNR website. They have a list of all the public lakes in SC. Big or small. Plus where the ramps are at.

Wacamaw River is real close to you and Santee about 90 minutes from ya.
