Trolling for Saugeyes Sunday morning we hooked a drum and in the process of bringing it in we saw a large Saugeye trying to take the lure out of the drums mouth. It was extremely persistent. I finally handed rod to wife and tossed another lure in to water and the Saugeye pounded my second lure at the boat. I was 23 inches long. I've heard of this but never seen it. Wish I would have had video rolling.
