    2008 Sabre with 2012 Yamaha 4 stroke set up help?

    Hey guys,

    Look for help on my 2008 Basscat Sabre setup. It has a 2012 150 Yamaha 4 stroke. Not SHO. The former owner had a 4 blade solas, with a hydra foil attached to the lower unit. Im getting a current top end speed of 54 with a 5400-5500 rpm. I want to see if changing to a high performance 3 blade prop will give me a better top end. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

    Does it has a jack plate on it? If not that will help

    Yes it has a 8" Jackplate.

    If you want the right answer for that combo call Bass Cat Boats and they will tell you exactly what prop and how high to set it. They do have good customer service.
