Let me ask, and keep in mind I know nothing about this stuff. Was his bait really a copy cat bait just cuz of the direct tie? I heard people/companies get around patents by making slight alterations to the design and that covers them. He was using a totally different head, and thats a big change in the way it fishes. Or is it JUST the direct tie they have patented, so that prevents all direct tie bladed jigs?Bummer you had to remove the pics of your copy-cat bait.
