HDS 9 Gen 2 Touch and Ghost HDI

I have a HDS 9 Gen 2 Touch and looking at the Ghost with the standard HDI transducer. Ghost comes with a mini 9 pin to regular 9 pin adaptor. The head unit has a 7 pin that says sonar and a 9 pin that says structure. Can I hook to 9 pin structure and work correctly? Thanks

The black 9 pin connector you can plug your ghost into and the HDI will work after you set it up on Sonar installation.

HDS Gen 3 was the first generation that could do 2D through the structure-port, your unit needs to have this transducer connected to the blue port. You will need adapter SKU 000-12571-001.

If you can’t find the adapter above, this one will also work, but it will NOT give temperature readings from the ghost HDI. Used to be hard to the other adapter, but maybe they have finally produced enough.
