the 919 is absolutely one Awesome boat, I also fish out of a buddy's 920 and the ride is basically they same under most conditions, at least on our lakes, that being said they ride is great and if you decide to go airborne the landing is very soft and manageable, they 919 corners great, drives like a sports car and like most say its a rocket ship, as for speed all the 919s are capable of 75/76 and in some cases 79, and even loaded heavy with 2 guys they will still do 73/74,

I would love to hear from guys fishing the Great Lakes, Mille Lacs and other big water lakes as to how the 919 handles the bigger swells and boat wakes? How does it compare to the larger 900 series cousins?

I've had mine on lake of the ozarks on poker run weekend. I don't care what you are in that is rough water but they just don't spear waves and hit hard. I came out of another brand and when it went up and came down it hit hard. The phoenix just lands soft. The 919 is an amazing boat. Nimble on the trolling motor. Mine has 4 batteries and poles and lots of tackle and realistically runs 72 to 73 tournament day. No one passes me. I have had it 78 by myself before the poles and light tackle. Storage is plenty. The only complaint would be rods do stick back and hang over the deck a little. If you put them on the driver's side no issues.

Love my 919. Fast, handles like a sportscar, rides great and lands soft, fishes big, more than enough storage. I can’t imagine needing a bigger boat... that said, I don’t fish the Great Lakes or similar giant waters. I would bet my 919 could hold it’s own in anything that wouldn’t be considered crazy unsafe to be out in.

Love mine. Runs like a squirrel on crack. Turns like it is part of the water, does not skip on corners/turns when trimmed down a pop or two. Lands soft, had to run hard a few times and verified that!! For me it’s perfect, fits in my garage, rides and fishes great, I can be speed racer if i want or just cruise at 65.

Go ride in one and ride in the the bigger models. Get what you like. Ride in a 721, loves it also but liked the 919 better for me.
    Good luck in your hunt.

I have a 2016 819 which is basically the same boat but only with a merc 200. I fish Lake Champlain and Lake George a lot! The ride is phenomenal. Rides great in rough water and handles awesome. This is my first Phoenix and I cannot be more happy. Full load two guys I can run 68-70 all day!
Although I mostly only run at 50-55 .Why rush to a spot when I enjoy driving her so much!!

I have a 919 just me poles, ultrex with four batteries and fishing equipment runs 77. Tournament load run about 73-74. With 3 batteries and fortrex 78-79just me and poles 74-75 tournament load. Mine rides like a cadillac in rough water handles it like a battle ship. Since the optis are discontinued id def give a sho a look. Best numbers ive seen so far is sho or optis on 919

919 owners, what's total storage length with tongue folded and motor down? I'm having a house built and designing garage length, and the 919 is hopefully my next purchase after that.

Well, over all length. All the measurements say add 3" for yamaha's, and the new pro XS looks longer
