Just working on 6x45 loads for hog and deer for next year. My buddy runs an ar10 308. It's good but Damn loud. Hopefully his can is in and on the next time we venture out. 300 black out is good on hogs with a Barnes bullet.

i hunt texas and oklahoma pulic lands for hogs and found the sako super hammers .308 180gr to have the best knock down and penetration. I only find these ammo at bassproshop. I have use hornady full boar 165gr. winchester powerpoint 180gr and remington cord lokt 180gr and found the sako to be the best all aound round for me. I use a dpms g2 moe carbine ar10.

300 Black out with FMJ for penetration. hogs have a thick hide that you need to punch through. higher velocity with no hollow point or tipped bullets
