I would set it up with a tourneys in general areas with an off week between them for the guys to be able to get to the new spot easily, settle in a bit and not be so rushed for back to back tourneys, but also give a 6 week period between the 2 tourneys.
February
- Amistad
- week off -
- Toledo Bend
April
- Harris Chain
-week off -
- choice of Clarks Hill / Lake Murray / West Point Lake
(I like West Point cause as far as I know, they've never been there)
June
- Greers Ferry
- week off -
- Dardanelle
September
- Havasu
- week off -
- California Delta
- week off -
- Clear Lake
That stretches into October, then do the Classic two weeks later. All the points are figured out at that time, have all the opens in the time between the Elite schedule so the Bass production team stays consistently busy thru the season.
Bring it all back to where it started, have the Classic on Lake Mead the last full week of October. Then all the anglers can make it back home to celebrate Halloween with their families and get started with hunting seasons.
I don't really give two shats whether the events turn into scopers duals or flippers delight. Set it up to make travel somewhat reasonable on the competitors and production staff, go places they haven't been to or at least a while since they've been there. Sprinkle in some nostalgia.
Here are my picks.
Feb. 22-25, Many, La., Toledo Bend Reservoir
Feb. 29-March 3, Yantis, Texas, Lake Fork
March 22-24, Bassmaster Classic, Tulsa, Okla., Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees
April 11-14, Leesburg, Fla., Harris Chain of Lakes
April 18-21, Palatka, Fla., St. Johns River
May 9-12, Columbia, S.C., Lake Murray
June 13-16, Decatur, Ala., Wheeler Lake
June 27-30, Cullman, Ala., Smith Lake
Aug. 8-11, Plattsburgh, N.Y., Lake Champlain
Aug. 15-18, Waddington, N.Y., St. Lawrence River
I'd like to see Amistad or Falcon on the schedule.

For 2024:
1. 2/22-2/25 Toledo Bend
2. 2/29-3/3 Fork
3. 4/11-4/14 Clear Lake, CA
4. 4/19-4/22 California Delta
5. 5/16-5/19 Lake Ouachita
6. 6/13-6/16 Lake Winnebago System
7. 6/20-6/23 Mississippi River
8. 8/1-8/4 Cayuga OR Champlain
9. 8/22-8/25 Potomac River
I wanted to include a big spot fishery like Lanier and one grinder like the Sabine (but not the Sabine) but we need a west coast swing again.
I would not want the nightmare of trying to make up that schedule.
Would like them to start later in the year though, with the classic in March, first and then fish to October.
Hmmmmmm..... January - Kissimmee Chain - Kissmmee, Florida
St. Johns River - Lake MONROE - Sanford, FL
February - Lake Amistad - Del Rio, TX
Lake Fork - Yantis, TX
March - Classic - Toledo Bend - Many, LA
April - Lake Dardanelle - Russellville, AR
May - Lake Murray - Columbia, S.C.
June - Mississippi River - LaCross, WS
July - Lake Champlain, Plattsburgh, N.Y.
August - Potomac River - VA

Not a whole schedule but would like to see them mix in these at some point...
Ohio River - out of Louisville
Arkansas River - out of Little Rock (JM Studio location)
Lake Cumberland
Phoenix 721 - Yamaha SHO 250 - 8' Blades
I understand the logistical and cost issues going west but I’d really like to see a return to Clear Lake, CA and the Delta. Couer de Alene would be very cool and I’d like to see Smith Mountain back on the schedule. The Potomac in August can be brutally hot, November would be great but “out of season” for BASS.
How about this, one tournament no gets to use any sonar. That would make a lot of people happy on here.
Surprised by the number of guys saying the CA delta. Its really gone downhill the last few years, it wouldn't rank up there for me on west coast destinations right now.
For west coast destinations I'd love to see Columbia River (weirdly underutilized even in local / regional tournaments here), and Lake CDA. CDA has awesome smallmouth and largemouth fishing, a very diverse fishery once you get to the river and all the chain lakes attached to it.
