I have been reading all the post on here. A lot of good info. I am picking a 2016 H20B with 150sho today. When I get it in the water I will let you all know how it runs. Just hoping for clear weather this weekend.

Thinking about getting a Motorguide XI 5 trolling motor 80 lb, any one running one?. What size shaft? Do you like? I'm running a lowrance and will gateway to it.

i have one on my current boat, not my H20B. it is an 80lb 60" shaft on my 22 bay boat. its great. spot lock works perfectly.

Does anyone think that whoever thought of the ergonomics of the leaning post missed the boat. Too far back, too high, gets in the way of the live well. take a look at pic below, what do you all think?

I agree, I think its about 8-10" too far back to comfortably lean/sit while driving but I guess it makes it easier to walk between. I like the height though. it keeps me high enough to see stuff in the water.

I agree, the factory leaning seat is worthless. The above design is more functinal for storage but looks too low if sitting (see my frontier picture for height)and nothing to lean against when standing. My frontier leaning seat is perfect when leaning/standing and when seated it will require you to lean a little but nothing that is uncomfortable. The only way to have the best of both is have the seats that can track forward/back or with a flip down leaning pad.

I don't mind the ergonomics of the leaning post as far as being to tall or to far away but I hate getting to the live well.

Thought of making a temp box 36"L x 24"H x 8"wide with seat receiver mounts on top same a front and rear pedestals.

Well made a box today to get final measurements to send to Fish on Fabrications for the aluminum seat box, will be 34.5 x 20 x 8. This will give me enough rom for about 6 life jackets. Seat height turned out to be same as cushion on livewell.

Looks good! How will it bolt down? Going to have any pedestal feet for it?

Also, do you get any water in your bilge? After every trip I have a gallon or two down there. I've tightned down the plug to make sure it's not that, and I went through with silicone earlier on all fittings on the transom as well as putting beads on whatever spots on found where the two shells were welded and had gaps in the welds

It will be screwed in back and bottom. Won't need feet.

Mine leaked at the gunnel top cap (sides and transom) dealer put a seam of silicone on it. Also check gas line fitting mine were lose and didn't hape any teflon tape on them.
