If not for the crazy weather that last day on Saginaw Bay he should have won that one. I'm pulling for him for sure.

He did about 15 years or so ago. Rolled up into a Tuesday nighter. He didn't win it but I think most of the competitors went into the port-a-jon to change their drawers once they saw him!
I fished a Bass for Cash tournament last year on St Clair and as it started to get daylight I noticed the boat parked next to me was KVD’s boat. Turned out it was Kevin’s sons fishing it, had me going for a little bit.

Jacob Wheeler regularly fishes nightly fruit jars on Chick. He and Dustin Connell won the one a couple of weeks ago.

It zeroes for last day. So if he's in he's got a chance. Right now he looks pretty good to get there. The frog guys are really catching them, but with the 3 lb minimum for last day - a lot's going to change. Would be awesome to see him do it.
