What's the best wax and polish for bass boat? Do you wax after polish? Is Nu Finish a good product for fiberglass?

You are going to get a lot of answers and none of them wrong. BBS is good stuff that I know! Buddy swears by pro tec.

Since wetsanding my boat 4 years ago all I use now is turtle wax hybrid ceramic and Lucas slick mist after I get off the water. She pops! I also use 303 on pretty much anything vinyl or plastic.

I wash and wax my boat each spring with BPS brand soap and wax. then use bass boat saver and slick mist as a quick detailer after every trip.

I’ve tried Hot sauce and it’s good for removing water spots, but as a detailer there’s much better out there. I threw nearly half a bottle of hot sauce away after trying slick mist the first time.

Exactly. However, knowing that fibreglass is porous, I believe that sealing first is the most important process. After that use your favourite product. At the beginning of the season, I strip and then seal with Pro Tec. After that, I use the Chemical Guys ceramic waxes and quick detailers throughout the season.

It's funny the different preferences. I love hot sauce, works good as a water spot remover and leaves behind some sealant. I have bottles of slick mist that I probably won't ever use because I didn't think it cleaned very well, required more buffing and I didn't think the wax had very good lifespan on it.

I will admit that slick mist smells way, way better though

    I completely agree.
Show me one that the wax lasts (still feels slippery) for more than two boat rides and then I'm sold.
    Anyone??
