    Ordering a 721 need input

Going to trade in my old boat and order a new 721xp with the new mercury 250 fourstroke, wanting to do a double graph on the console, I’m pretty sure the 721 comes with the lowered dash. What kind of brackets are being ran on these boats and has anyone done one like this yet

they still offer multiple options for the dash, you need to choose the dual dash shroud with lower gauges.
here is a precision sonar heavy duty mount.

No bracket needed there is a metal backer under the shroud. Just mount the gimbals directly to the shroud and you are good to go no reason to spend hundreds of dollars on a bracket that isn't needed I run Champlain and Oneida all the time and the shroud with backer plate from factory is very sufficient

I have a 16” on a bassboattechnologies Mount. But I have the standard 3” gauge dash.

Can the gimble bracket for the 16” be mounted straight down to the lowered shroud console? If so then I don’t need to order any mounts

With the new lower gauge dash you can mount a 16" graph without an aftermarket mount as the base is reinforced with aluminum plates.I ran mine like this without any issues.

I believe hackney runs a 16” garmin like this so it should work. His last years boat was rigged the same so if he did have issues I’m sure he would have changed it for this season.

No problems with a 15" Solix mounted direct to the lower gauge shroud. You just want to make sure the bolt holes line up so each catch one of the 3 aluminum plates.

Well the dealer is going to install the gimble so hopefully they understand this method
