Found out some bad news about my dog.

Wife took Johnny to the vet for a checkup today. He has a mass on his spleen that's the size of a golf ball. He only weighs 21lbs. Dr said it could be malignant or cancer. Would require major surgery to remove it. We have to go back in 4 weeks to get another ultrasound to see if its growing. We have no idea how long hes had it because he hasn't had an ultrasound done in quite a long time.

We are a little upset about it. Hes 13 but we sure don't want anything to happen to him. He doesn't act any differently. Just sleeps more and his ears were really dirty. Dr said it's just his age. Hes slowing down. I know God hears all prayers.

Lost my dog to cancer a year ago.. it sucks. for your pup.

Been reading about cancer in dogs. I found out some information that explains a few things. Makes me worried reading it. He did have a little weight loss a few months ago. We increased his food intake a little bit. But it says that fuels the cancer. It thrives on carbs. He gets chicken and brown rice .

We have lost a few pets to cancer over the years and it's really hard. Hoping that you get a good report.
