FISHING SEASON
This pertains to bass fishing and St Clair only
NOTE: Immediate Release means IMMEDIATE not take 5 photos, weigh it 3 times, wait for your buddy’s boat to come over and see it or video chat with who the hell cares PUT THE FISH BACK ASAP
FISHING LICENSES
Michigan and Ontario CA licenses can be purchased online
Walpole Island Licenses can only be purchased in a few places
Algonac Ferry to Walpole, most stores and campground on Walpole
But in Michigan there is only one place I know of

DNR NETS
These are trap nets approximately 650 feet long each is marked with 2 flags and 9 small buoys placed and check intermittently and they can be a hazard
NO WAKE ZONES
On the lake the rule is the same as the yellow rule below
BOAT LAUNCHES
It’s always best to launch at the closest launch to wherever you plan to fish
Each launch opens/closes on their own schedule contact them for times and dates
SAFETY
This is not your local pond you’re out there playing with freighters and this water is not forgiving
Yes we will pull your butt out if you get in trouble but we would rather be fishing so please check all your equipment and make sure you have all the required USCG safety equipment and it works
