    Unhappy Mercury 250 Trim Issue..Help??

So my 2022 CX20 was running just fine. Only issue was the gas gauge on the digital readout (go figure). Keep in mind this was about a year ago, I did the reset instructions that so many people have passed around about changing the starboard selector and whatnot. Didn't put 2 and 2 together until I saw a comment about it on facebook. Since about that time, I am unable to trim up past 2.4(ish) while on plane, it will trim perfectly fine when idle or on the trailer. Someone said that when messing with the fuel selector and resetting the gauge can mess with the trim?? Also, yes, my trim screw is tight and not loose. Any thoughts??? TYI

Same thing happened to me with my previous boat. You should call Caymas and see if they can help you set up your gauge properly.

Get online and look up how to program the smartcraft guage. The trim limits can be set as one of the parameters.

Idling or sitting still ,seems like I've seen 13, but running wot, mine only shows 5.5? Feels like it wants more trim.

Mine only shows 5.5 too and it seems like mine could use a little more also.

The way my gauge is setup it goes from 0-10. I had to recalibrate it once I got the boat.

How did you re-calibrate it? I've trimmed it all the way down and held an extra 3 seconds but still only 5.5 at wot.
