    The current solution is don't turn on SI Contrast in the combo SI/DI views. That is what causes the DI to replace the right side of SI.
    Does this mean set the SI Enhance Contrast to Zero ... ??

    Do not know what the setting should be other than default. Do you have a MEGA to test?

    The one shot I saw with the problem had SI enhance turned on low ..... not sure if that is a factor or not.

    I was thinking there is no "Off" in an SI Contrast setting ... only a slider scale of 0-20 under the SI Enhance overlay "Menu" ...

    you are correct ,there is no "OFF" just a settings from 1-20

    Update, additionally it is Sharpness that also causes the glitch. Keep Sharpness turned off until the fix is done.

    update

    Finally made it back to the water to test out that theory and the contrast isn't causing the issue it's the sharpness and the higher the sharpness the worse the problem. Thanks for the help. Hopefully they can solve the issue.

    My brand new helix 12 mega g2n has this same problem I think, is this happining to all the new units or just some ?, after spending nearly 5 grand I don't want a dodgy unit that needs repairing after half an hours use.

    Have you registered the unit and checked for a software update?

    Just purchased a new helix 9 G2N two weeks ago and took it out yesterday. Same problem for me...si on the right side scan is glitched when running a di and si combo view but si is perfect when on a solo screen or combined with gps. Not sure what software comes on it out of the box but any new suggestions on fixing this issue? Thanks in advance.
