Tried the Gunk and was not impressed. Many years ago I thought it worked well, now not so much. My guess is they changed it for environmental reasons.

Purple power to me is about the best. But all are a little weaker now as with all cleaners due to epa I assume. Nothing is as good as it used to be. Myself included

Dawn dish soap. I don't like anything more harsh on the rubber/vinyl/plastic parts.

at dollar store or family dollar. Better than purple power

$3 for a gallon, mix it 50/50 for degreasing engine. If REALLY bad, use full strength

Tampa I agree! Dawn dish soap imho is the cure all to cleaning grease and dirt. I cut it with water lightly, and spread with a paint brush. Let it sit for a short bit, and then wash with the house. Awesome stuff and environmentally friendly.

This stuff is great and getting hard to keep on the shelf around here. I buy it by the case when I can find it. Effortlessly cleans tires as well.

If you need engine degreaser, you need a new gasket somewhere first.

Your mechanic will love finding out what plug you got water into or blowing out the moisture on your plugs if you have a COP system
