i love trophy's...best mid range and top end prop you can buy...but i would not spend a dollar on getting one worked...blades will crack...
i did spend a few bucks having one repaired that had a mini crack in a blade, and i had it actually blue printed and extra cupping added...came back slower than it was stock...

Go see Josh at Steve's Custom Props in Quitman, TX. He worked my 25p Trophy Plus and more recently, my 26p Tempest Plus. They do great work. Steve has owned a Gambler and knows what works. Www.stevescustomprops.com

Either way, send it up here afterwards.
Little Nitrogen Spa treatment, some time in the sauna, the Trophy won't crack!

Matt provided good Intel and excellent props for my Gambler. I will go back to him for my next prop.

i had a 27p Trophy with a small crack in one blade. Sent it to Matt to weld up - which he did. Sent it straight to the " Nitrogen Spa". Got it back it lasted less than one outing before slinging a blade... No'mo' spas for me...

    Matt FOR SURE

He worked with me on several props. He ordered me a Bravo and thought it would be the ticket, when it didn't work out as well as we thought he traded me out for a different one that worked great on my Bullet.

He has great Customer Service. I will for sure be going back to him.

Just because one guy worked the prop to make it slower don't mean getting a trophy worked will make it slower then stock. Every boat is different and some guys are better then others.

    Matt Lahiti. has my vote.

You misinterpretted my post! I was saying that a trophy will sling a blade very quickly, and I will ever spend money on having a Trophy worked again... they are great box stock props...

I'll second exactly what LSC stated. Have a Trophy hammered on... It's not long for this world. I usually run a Trophy 2-3 years w/o problems. When I hit something and "have" to have it worked on I know I may as well order a new one at the same time I send the damaged one to Matt...
