I assume that by now your local Suzuki dealer and your insurance company have started taking care of this, but my 2016 250SS got a new lower unit last year and there were no issues. I have to believe that they would have correct replacements in Suzuki's inventory if the latest and greatest isn't compatible with all older 250SS outboards.
