Going to put a Atlas Jack plate on my new MX 21 (Crestliner) 250 Merc 4 stroke.
Should I Place it where the center of the prop is 3 1/2" below pad (lowest position) like you would
a Glass boat?

I have no experience with the MX 21, but I've had two Lund Pro v Bass 21 footers. I don't know the pad design on the Crestliner, but the Lund runs best on the lower set up. Some of it would depend on weight distribution, but I suspect you'll need a good bit of trim to get the nose up on that bost. Someone will come along and know more than I do about it specifically.
