So my buddy gave me the original Ethernet cable that he had with it. I went out and bought a new one and it didn’t solve anything. Active Target is on in advanced features.

When I hook my AT transducer up to a different boat’s module you can hear my transducer pinging/ticking. When I hook it up to my module there is no pinging noise or ticking noise coming from the AT transducer.

Yes they are. All of the indicator lights on the module are all correct.

Last season I had issue with my AT1, it would loose connection then come back and so on. I sent module to lowrance and they sent me a hole new system in the box. Re connected the module and same issue. Called lowrance, they suggested I replace the power cable. Before I even called lowrance originally the first thing I checked was the power cable and it was getting full power. I replaced the power cable with the brand new one supplied in the AT box and bam. That was the issue, for some reason the power cable was causing the issue even though it was getting power. So replace power cable with new one and see if that works.

Since your lights are all working as they should, I would be more inclined to think if there is a connection problem it would be between your transducer and the box. You already confirmed your transducer works, so the likely culprit would be the box's transducer connection. Carefully inspect the pins and sockets and make sure all are intact and none are broken.

Any updates on this? I have been in contact with Lowrance the last few days about ours not working after the 23.3 update. Been on the boat since AT1 came out so installation or wiring is not the issue. Transducer is not pinging. They told me there working on finding a way to revert the software to the previous version to see if that helps.

Hook your module to a different boat and see what happens. Good luck

My transducer is pinging off of my buddy’s module.

This is what Lowrance sent….Thank you for getting back to us.
I hope you're doing well today. Upon checking, I did manaage to pull up the case and the tech notes of this Active target and it was found as NFF (No Fault Found) and was sent back as it is. As you mentioned that
you have tried performing the restore defaults 3-4 times by going to your HDS Live's settings page > system > restore defaults. Have you done performing as well the ACTIVETARGET reset wizard by going to your unit's settings page > sonar > Activetarget installation > reset wizard. Were we able to confirm if the software versions are updated? Kindly reply back to this email with the phots of the unit's about page and Activetarget installation info page.

WTH is reset wizard. I don’t see it as a option when I follow the steps

My buddy gave me an active target 1 to see if I could get it to work. It stopped working on his boat so he sent in the transducer and module to lowrance. He didn’t want to wait on it to be repaired so he bought an active target 2. Lowrance sent it back and said nothing is wrong with it and that the software needed to be updated. I installed it on my boat. Updated the software on my HDS live and I updated the software on the active target 1. Everything is hooked up right all of the lights on the module are on and they are correct according to the manual. I have everything setup right on my hds live. Could it be a bad Ethernet cable? Seems like the Ethernet cable would be good since I was able to send the update to the module. All I am getting is “fuzz” that goes across the screen. Any suggestions?
How about a pic of what you are seeing. Image can tell us a lot of about what is going on.

Or... bent pins on the transducer cable at the AT module.
