This is a major safety concern by the major organizations. NMMA has viewing requirements, from the drivers seat, and many of todays electronics setups violate those requirements. We can not install some manufacturers equipment at the factory because the location violates those vision angle requirements. This is a challenge to safe operation and would be a solid concern on liability if there were an accident.

I was out on okeechobee today and this post came to my mind. some guy in an awesome rig running with a graph at least 2-4 feet off the front of the boat; like a standup desk or something :)

My thought was you don't need any electronics on Okeechobee; certaintly something that produces wind drag.

My view is the mounts and such are like pimping a 4wd vehicle at this point
