    Best color frog go.

If a person had only one choice in frogs.
What type would it be and what color would you pick.

    Black.

If I had to go with my second choice, it'd be black too.

As for type...I'm a fan of the Jackall Kaera, Jackall Gavacho, Terminator Walking Frog Jr.

the color that is working. Start with Black, seems to get bigger fish, then white, then yellow, greentree, etc. Popping, non popping till you get bit. Use swimbaits rapidly over mats to see if any fish blow up on it and then slowdown to catch them.

My one two punch like that is a 1/8 oz swim jig and a white frog. I'll throw black if they're not hitting white but mostly throwing white.

Thx all what I’m learning is white or black end. It’s a reaction bite right so color doesn’t need to be crazy important I’m thinking.

The only thing that matters to me is if they are eating shad, white belly and if they are bluegill/bream, dark belly

White is my primary choice but I will sometimes throw black. I miss more fish on black because its harder for me to see.

Get a paint marker or nail polish in a brighter color (white, yellow, chartruese, pink, orange, whatever) and put a quarter sized dot on the top of the frog. I struggle more with casting accuracy with black frogs, but seeing it is much harder thats for sure.

I am a 2 second pause setter myself and it works most of the time. However, I do have a lot of bites where they didn't eat the bait and just swatted it and the frog comes back towards me during the hookset at MACH Jesus. The dot helps me see and matrix dodge the frog before its too late.

Favorite color is Sparrow by Snag Proof in the old Bobby’s perfect frog series. It’s Brown with yellow eyes. Second choice probably black.
