Was wondering what everyone’s favorite swimbait reel is?
I was looking at the Shimano Curado 300K, or the Daiwa Tatula 300HS.
Any other recommendations?

Revo Beast 40HS. Brass gears and with a solid feel, without feeling like an anchor in your hand.
Shimano Tranx would be another good one.
I have Calcutta Conquest 400MD's
2022 Ranger Z520R | 2022 Platinum F250
Apex 19 | (2) Apex 16's | Mega 360 | Mega Live
Calcutta conquests are great but Tranx and Daiwa Prorex are both solid!
Depends on the weight and type of swimbaits you plan on using.

I have never thrown a large swim bait. Have thought about trying it using a Diawa Tatula TW 200 HSL. If I found liking it I’d probably get the Tatula 300.

This covers from 15lb FC to 25lb FC. The 13 Fishing has 50lb Braid with 25 mono leader for Plunkers and other large top waters.
I think that the line and the rod are more important than the reel. Almost any decent reel will work.
I got a Diawa lexa 300 last year with the power knob for swimbaits. It absolutely changed the game for me.
Tatula 200 but don’t throw anything about 2.5 oz

Never needed a 300. Curado 200/201 has been fine.
The Curado 300 is a great reel for the $$$$!
