    shifting

Hello, I have a 2018 225 pro xs and I am the second owner. When purchased it was very hard to shift if not impossible so after much investigation it turned out to be the hub on the prop. The prop was a Tempest with a SSR hub and it was horrible to shift forward or reverse so after a year of dealing with that I installed a solid hub and it shifts like butter but you do get a bit more noise going into gear. thought it would help some of you that have mention shifting issues like mine.

I had the same issue. Spent a lot of money and time trying to figure out the shifting problem. Thanks for posting

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

This is something we've seen a good bit, and we've found that higher-pitch props don't do well on the Optimax Models when using an SSR hub kit.
