Curious of those who have a 21 TRX with a 250 Mercury Four Stroke what kind of speed, and rpm you are getting out of it. And what prop you are running? Finally opened up my new to me 21TRX today and I have a feeling that the motor is not getting full throttle when running. The boat came with a 24 Fury. Motor has about 22 hours on it. Holeshot is very sluggish and wide open rpm is only about 5700, speed is about 65-68. Just seems like this boat should be turning more rpm at wide open throttle..
I'm running a 26 Fury on a 250 ProXS (2 stroke). I am consistently around 77mph even with my wife aboard. I can touch 80 in cool water with the right conditions. I also have a 10 inch Atlas hydraulic jack plate that helps tremendously with the holeshot and top end.

I have a 2021 TRX21 with 250 Merc 4 stroke. I have seen 77 alone, 75/76 with two people and gear and 73 all day long with full gas, full live wells and all tournament gear.

So update:
got boat back from service center. He said the motor is fine, has no open recalls and is getting 100% throttle. I have a 23 Fury I’m going to try on it, but still feel like something is off with this motor. Not sure how everyone else can turn a 24 Fury to 6k and over and yet my motor can’t even get past 5700
Mine is exactly the same. 24 Fury 5600-5700 RPM feels like it is not lifting to get the boat all the way out of the water. 65-66mph now that it is hot. I have a jack plate gage and best numbers are coming around 4-5 (1-1/2" in up, makes me think i dont have enough R's to lift the front end.
Was hitting 5900 RPM and 69.0 in the colder water with the 243P Fury
Hole shot went from okay to poor in May with
both livewells full and 19.5 lb's of bass. 3/4 tank of gas and 2 big guys.
The r's have got to go up

I have a 200 with a 24 Bravo 1 FS. The prop handles great, strong holeshot and mid range. My issue is the same as the OP, if just won’t rev. 5680 with the Bravo but only 5400 with the 24 Fury. What is your prop to pad measurement?
Something has to be off. Based on some other post ITT something might be off with my setup. My 2004 TR21X with 250 Merc 4 stroke and 25 Tempest Plus is only pushing 72 with a full load. Now, I do weigh 325 pounds so that might have something to do with it. I was told by the dealer that 6200 was the limit on rpm. That's where I am at.

*Update* took the boat out this evening. Made a few wide open runs with the 23 Fury 3 Blade. With ptp around 2”-2.5” it turned 6210 rpms @ 70mph. Holeshot is slightly better. This was with about 2/3 tank of gas, full livewells and by myself. I’m glade to see the rpms were able to come up, but thinking the boat should run better than 70. Going to try a different 24 Fury and see how that differs only because going from the 24 Fury that came with the boat to a 23 gained me about 500 rpm which I wouldn’t have expected that big of a difference.
Lower your motor to 3" below pad before you do anything else. Fury props have to run a little deeper. Once you get it lowered run both the 23 and 24 fury. You should get better lift which will lead to better speed.
Figured I’d post another update after fishing a tournament this weekend.
Running a 23p Fury 3 Blade.
With a full tank of full and empty livewells, by myself the holeshot was reasonable. Top end was 71.5-72 at 6k
then Saturday I had another guy fishing with me.. weighed maybe 180lbs. Again full tank of full and empty wells in the morning. Holeshot was noticeably worse. But did manage to touch 70 on top end but required full trim and running the Bobs JP a little lower.
after filling the livewells the holeshot was absolutely horrendous. Took forever to plane out. Top end went to about 64-65mph.
What’s everyone else experience running a full load with these boats? Seems to me the boat needs more stern lift from a 4 blade.
Mine will come right out of the hole no problem with two grown men and a full load. But it’s not running 76 on top like some ITT have said. It will hit 71 on top. If I take everything out and have 1/4 tank of fuel I can get to 76 but that’s the only way.
