    hook2 tripleshot issue

    I installed a 9 inch Hook2 tripleshot on my 2019 Ranger RT 198 console 2 years ago. The transducer is on the stern next to the engine.

    Back in the fall the unit started to lose the bottom depth while sitting or idling. It sometimes goes blank and others it will show the depth incorrectly by several feet (sometimes more). My transducer does not have any damage - I have unhooked the power and transducer cables from the unit and reinstalled - I did a factory reset. Nothing has stopped this issue. Any ideas as to what may fix the my problem?

    Don't have a clue to your problem, but I just listed a new transducer for sale for $75.00 if it turns out that is your problem:

    Have you tried putting it in manual depth mode ? Sometimes mine won't read right till I put it in manual mode. Sometimes if I turn it off and re start it , it reads correct. Funny, I never have any problem with my double shot !
