Diagnostic Cable Pin layout

Do anyone have the pin layout and part type for the diagnostic cable for a 2005 DI engine? I want to make my own cable and I need to know the part type for the end of the cable that will connect to my engine. Thanks for all info.

same as your trim switch cable connector assembly. Order the connector, wedge, and pins from your dealer.

Some folks have cut off the trim switch connectors and used one for the diagnostic cable, then used bullet connectors to fasten to the trim switch wires together.

I believe they call the connector a Deutsh or something like that.

Order one # 514686 Deutsch connector, three # 514679 pins, and a # 514682 wedge (pin retainer)
