Got on the water again last night and had the same problem as the weekend. In shallow weedy water or thick weeds that top out 2-3 below the surface all three of my Helix units sonar systems freeze...

Awesome, I have been using my AS GPS HS for the heading sensor on the bow unit to give me boat icon directionality but its at the rear of the boat so this will be much closer to the bow transducer...

If I select my Minn Kota Ulterra as the networked GPS source for my bow mounted Helix 10 will it act like a compass and show which direction the boat icon is pointing similar to the AS GPS HS?

Am I correct to assume that the wider frequency SI and 2D information from a G3 will not share with a G2 similar to the way MEGA G2 info did not share on the G1 units?
