I’ve got a 1992 Ranger 361V with a 6” jack plate and I raised it up 1” above the transom, how do I measure it?

I just put my outboard up on my jack plate 1 inch it sets back 6 inches and about 3 inch level with the pad do you think it with plane off ok

Thanks, Iam taking it to the shop in January to get tuned up and checked out and Iam going to have it raised 1 inch up on the jack plate the hydraulic steering elbow is rubbing on the top transom...

Just got a Ranger361V with a 150 Mercury XRI what are some things to look for in this motor ?

my SeaStar steering cables are rubbing on my trasom , what can I do , looks like the orbs that connected to the cables are the problem.

I’ve got a small 1/2 dollar size tight by a chine but can’t get to it what should I do thinking about putting it in the ramp and pulling it off a little so I can see it better
