I went all Ego and have no regrets. Weed eater, blower, hedge trimmer and chain saw. It does hurt when you have to buy a new battery, but I do not miss the gas tools one bit.
I'd say 6-7 would be about right for a 112 Ultrex.

Those housings have been discontinued for a while. I replaced mine with the Rule 403C. These are physically bigger, but they do work.

Don't remember how to get to it in the menu, but there is an option to adjust the offset. Not sure it will go 45 degrees though.

I've got a B200 on a power pedestal as well and it works great. Adjust the height as needed. I did mount my seat "backwards", since they have a rear leaning offset built in, plus my pedestal has one...

Since you're not reusing, getting anything you can tap with a hammer. It'll probably come out pretty easy. The few I've done only took a slight tap on a piece of wood.
Just a homeowner doing DIY stuff, but I bought this Dewalt 4 years ago and it's been a great saw.
Should just be sealant. Seems like I had one that was a little stubborn as well.
