Do you know what thread the zerc fittings are?

I have a flexible hose grease gun, the fitting on the end of the hose will not fit onto the grease fitting, not enough room.

I cannot get at these fittings. Trim and/or turning steering wheel does not help. There are four bolts holding a bracket in place that I could take out, but they are not 7 or 8 mm and they are not...

There are 2 grease fittings behind the lower steering cable. How do you get to them? Do you have to take the piece that holds the steering cables off?
