Vessel View Mobile is not powered unless the key is switched on. That said I would still recommend maintaining the battery while stored regardless of having VVM or not.
If an individual is not compelled to "upgrade" to a 16v setup and stays with their existing 12v, no money is made.
My practice has been to run the standard 87 octane that is advertised to contain up to 10% ethanol all season long, right up to the point where the boat will be coming off the lift and stored for the...

When I switched to hydraulic, I started at the back and did not need to unbolt the motor. When its time to try and remove it from the tilt tube turn the steering wheel so that the rod is fully...
Its been my understanding that the Tracker "Revolution" hull responds well to a stern lifting prop.

I see some Lowrance units on there, may want to look into their Ghost trolling motor.
Vessel View Link, as Team Colibri suggests, alternatively you could use a "level 1" or higher MercMonitor (level 1 and up include a N2K connection). To my understanding the MercMonitor N2K gateway...
Try them with a drop of oil before you toss em
Probably wasn't necessary to dig up this old thread, OP is almost 2 years old.
Its called a "trim tab", and is meant to be adjusted to counteract the torque due to the rotation of the prop. Turn the trailing edge of the tab into the direction that is experiencing the pull.

Humm... I might be looking into the condition of the push rod and maybe clean out the tilt tube. Perhaps disconnect the cable/pushrod from the draglink, or disconnect draglink from engine. Then see...
Mercury Spitfire, use the prop selector to find the right pitch for your application.
Do you know what's on it now... If I were to guess its likely a Mercury Black Max in maybe 12ish pitch?
I recommend either the Vessel View Link (to be used with Lowrance), or a level-1 or higher MercMonitor (which has an N2K gateway built in).
Oil injection tank full?... Nephew's 150 Black Max of similar age had a bad float sensor on the engine mounted oil tank. Just throwing it out there.
I own Vessel View Link, Vessel View Mobile, and MercMonitor... but unfamiliar with "Smartcraft Link" that was mentioned, could you please explain or clarify. Is this perhaps a case of mixing up the...
If it is an SS3D transducer, the only way to connect it is through the SS3D module. To my knowledge there is not currently an HDS unit that has the appropriate ports or internal functionality to...
