I have three 2022 106sv Echomap Ultras, dealer installed, and networked ,on my 2022 Vexus AVX 1880. A couple of months ago, the console unit would stop on the Trademark screen, and go no further,...
I have been using HomePort to edit and weed out the duplicates, but what a PIA. Hopin' and prayin' there is a way to mark my catch and be done with it.
I have a total Garmin boat with a Force TM and three EchoMap Ultra 106sv. One on the console, runs off a GT56 on the transom, and two at the bow, running of the trolling motor GT54. They are all...
Done!
Considering all the condensation woes, and the long drying time after a rain, has anyone here installed a ventilation system in their AVX? Was it a DIY, or is there a commercial alternative?
Thanks to all. Just had to use a little more force than I am used to.
Probably a dumb question.
Picked up my 2022 AVX 1880 Wednesday, and on the water yesterday to start break-in.
How do you remove the pedestal from the deck. All my previous boats had the 3/4" pin....

I wish they would be more cognizant of the need to update their page with new pictures (new colors and colors that have been deleted) as well as nice new items (mentioned above).

Great lookin' boat.
Nice lookin' ride. I like the look of the black better, but, those gunnels get mighty hot, here in FL
That is probably exactly what I will get.
Thanks - I will look that up.
What brand(s) of livewell treatment(s) do you use, and why that brand, as opposed to another? There are quite a few out there - I'm sure they are not all the same. Not trying to start a Coke/Pepsi or...
Living in Florida, Vinyl makes sense, but, I just like carpet. Easier on bare feet, traction, and sound deadening. So far, the "blood and guts" have all washed out.:praying:
Great info. I will have to replace mine this year.
Drilling holes would let even more water into the carpeted storage area. I need all the water to channel into the drain tube.
I wonder if foam weatherstripping would help??? Any water the drain tube...
So, I guess no one has found a solution. Bummer.
I have a 2-year old 195 TXW, and love everything about it - EXCEPT, the storage boxes and the center rod box, do not stay dry. Have any of you figured a way to keep the storage boxes and the rod box...
