I would think spacers would work. You could also look for a different set of springs that could raise it up a bit.

Craig, do you think you will get any reflection from the skid planer? The front of the transducer appears to be above the last inch or two of the skid planer.
I just ran new wire from the battery to my 2 depth finders and picked up a couple volts at each unit. Previously they had tapped into existing old boat wiring with crappy connections.
I found this on the Ally board from a while back. It was a mid 90's Boatmate.

The replacement pistons are supposed to be approximately the same weight as the originals. There can be a some variance in weight between 6 factory pistons too.
Once the alarm sounds it is usually too late from what I have heard over the years.
I am glad you found the problem. Those little things can be a booger.
Thanks, they are 1/2-20.
Will it still light the fire on the big end with the .044" gap? Other than idle what difference will you notice?
Time for some new lug nutz.
That is what I was thinking.

They are very user friendly. It is a 2.5 block so it is relatively light too. I would guess $7000 give or take a little with those hours on it. The 2.5 motors are holding their value.
Titus can always help you out!
Sounds just about perfect to me.
You can swap the switch boxes from side to side to see if the problem follows the suspected bad box.
Sorry to hear that. I hope things work out for you.
I am interested to see what Don says about losing 5# compression. The new gasket may be thicker.
There are a couple recent posts about a water pressure gauge, shouldn't be hard to find them.
You should be fine. You are better off without the oil injection.
How could that have anything to do with it? What really caused it to blow up? How did it blow up?
That is the same jacket I wear. I really do put it on most of the time now-a-days. It is fairly comfortable and I am trying to wear it all the time.
Thousands in the boat and motor, a bunch in...
You need to pull the power head to do it. If you just need a new two piece cowl I know where there is a perfect one available.
Happy birthday. Last I heard Aarp was anti gun so we dropped them.
That is great. Keep us informed.
Yep, it is the little things that trip us up sometimes.
