That's why I always keep all my previous software versions on my harddrive as long as I have the unit! :wink:

Don't have a Ghost and am not planning to buy one. The rest of the new features are so minor I don't need them either so no need to update for me...

I don`t know if you tried already to elimenate it but maybe magnetic interference that is causing this?

That feature is not supported by the Hook series. Only the Elite TI and HDS series support it...

Correct. For me personally it was not worth to spend another €2100/$2340 extra for just synchronizing waypoints because I don't need the extra features the HDS Live units provide above the TI2's. But...

Nope. But if that is the only reason not to buy more then 2 Elite TI' s it's a weak one. I have networked them with nmea2000. Works fine for me.

Why? I have 3 Elite TI2 9 units on my boat don't have any problems...

Well, I would not keep the current transducer for the Elite TI2. Go for the active image 3 in 1 transducer otherwise I don't think the upgrade is worth it and I would stick with the TI1. The Point 1...
